We find this poem both sad and comforting in those times x
If It Should Be
If it should be I grow frail and weak,
And pain should wake me from my sleep,
Then you must do what must be done,
For this last battle can't be won.
You will be sad, I understand,
Don't let grief then stay your hand,
For this day more than all the rest,
Your love and friendship stand the test.
We've had so many happy years,
What is to come will hold no fears,
You'll not want me to suffer, so,
When the time comes, please let me go.
I know in time you too will see,
It is kindness you do to me,
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I've been saved.
Do not grieve that it should be you,
Who has to decide this thing to do,
We've been so close, we two, these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.
In memory of our darling Georgie who passed gently in my arms on 24 Nov 2016. You came to us through Beagle Welfare on 22 Jan 2011 and stole our hearts. You were the most gentle, affectionate and beautiful soul and your loss is unbearable. Run free sweet boy, your brave battle against the cruelest illness is over and you can rest at the rainbow bridge. We will love you always and cherish the years of joy that you brought to our home! With love from YOUR Ruprecht family that you owned from the moment we saw you xxx
Our beautiful beagle Sebastian (Sebbie), you brought so much joy and love into our lives.
Taken from us too soon at just 8 years old on 24th September 2016.
We are heartbroken and will never forget you, or stop loving you.
Always in our hearts.
Forever loved, always missed, never forgotten.
Rest in peace Sebbie.
Lots of love from Mummy, Daddy, Charlotte, Steph and Grandma x x x
We sent Oliver over the ‘Rainbow Bridge’ at 8 pm on Tuesday 26th April 2016. We squeezed every drop of life out of him. We had no idea of the huge hole he would leave in our lives. We miss him so much. Run free and be whole again. Goodbye our beautiful boy xxx

Snoopy Tong came to us in 2011. We have spent four and a half wonderful years together before he passed away aged 11. You have truly been my best friend and our beloved pet. We will miss you more than we can say.
Snoopy will also be missed by his extended family at Tong Engineering where he leaves behind a lasting impression on members of the team, customers and suppliers.
We will love you forever. Xx

We were deeply saddened to say goodbye to our beautiful Binka at the very young age of 6. We'll miss her immensely, especially our two year old Granddaughter Grace, and Snoop who has been her constant companion for 5 years. The Campbell-Barker family xxx
Barney as we remember him, having a quick nap before the next adventure. He came to us from Beagle Welfare and passed away in January 12th 2015, aged 15 and 3/4, our very best friend and missed every hour of every day.
Lucy was clever (but sometimes devious), brave (but sometimes vulnerable), cheery (but sometimes bossy), but above all she will always be missed. She fought hard and courageously against metastatic cancer, but lost her battle on 22 February 2015. RIP our little girl, love Mummy, Daddy and big brother Bodie.
To our beloved Baxter who we lost Feb 1st 2015. You were taken too soon and we were not ready. Always in our hearts. Mum, Dad, Isaac, Maddie and Dylan

Peggy was such a beautiful gentle girl, a little aloof, earning her the nickname Princess Pigpog. She left us on 29/01/14, aged 9 years, nearly a year ago now. I miss her every day, as does my other beagle.
Adopted from University of Pretoria, S Africa, aged 8 where she had spent her entire life as a brood bitch. We had 5 wonderful years together in Zimbabwe. Adapted to domestic life with no problems. My much loved baby girl.
Poppy. You gave us many years of fun and devotion after coming to live with us. I still miss you, no one to help with the cooking, clearing up the kitchen floor or greeting me each morning with a stretch and wagging tail. Wait for me at Rainbow Bridge.
8 months on I know people say 'Get another Dog' - it's not that easy. I miss you so much.
Some say 'You're only a dog'. Those are the most hurtful words. You were my world for four years. Christmas is not the same without shouting 'TAZ DON'T TOUCH THE TREE!!!'
Henry enjoying the sunshine this summer.
Sadly put to sleep September the 7th aged 9.
Much loved and very missed beagle from Jake, Emma and all the family xxx
In memory of our beautiful Beagle Penny who we rescued when she was 5.
She went to the rainbow bridge in August 2012 at the grand old age of 14.
She was a beautiful soul who touched our lives and we won't ever forget her.
